BestMedSpaSoftware is an independent publication covering the software medical spas and aesthetic practices run on. We are not a software company, a reseller, or a vendor-owned review directory.

Why this publication exists
Aesthetic practices sit awkwardly between two software markets. Salon and spa platforms understand retail, memberships and front-desk flow but were not built for clinical records. Medical software understands charting and consent but often ignores the commercial side of an aesthetics business: promotions, packages, retail stock and patient acquisition.
Owners are left comparing products that describe themselves in incompatible language. We exist to translate that landscape into something a practice owner can act on in an afternoon.
Who writes here
Our work is produced by a small editorial team with backgrounds in practice operations, software analysis and clinical workflow. Every commercial page carries a named writer and a named reviewer.
- Dana Whitfield — Editorial Director, Practice Technology. Dana covers practice management and clinical software for aesthetic medicine, with a focus on documentation workflows and pricing transparency.
- Marcus Reyes — Senior Software Analyst. Marcus reviews vendor documentation, pricing disclosures and product demonstrations across scheduling, CRM and payments platforms.
- Priya Anand, RN — Clinical Reviewer. Priya reviews clinical documentation and consent workflows from the perspective of an injector working in a multi-provider practice.
What we publish
Platform reviews, head-to-head comparisons, category rankings and long-form guides on choosing, pricing, migrating and operating med spa technology. Anything a vendor does not publish is labelled as not listed rather than estimated.
